Can you just briefly explain what this property is used for on the TileNotification class.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Paul,

When sending notifications, It's recommendable that you always include both a square version and a wide version. This way, if a user resizes the tile to a smaller size, they still see updated data.

The idea behind this recommendation is that all Metro Style apps must support a square tile, even if you use a wide tile, since the user can resize it to use the square tile.

The AlternativeTileImage its used when you send a wide tile notification to include the alternative square tile notification.

Note that in the new Recipe (v0.0.3.0 or higher), you have SquareContent property in the TileWideBase notification class which is more flexible as you can define the square tile type to be used.
